Standards Australia Store Project

Standards Australia Ltd is the peak non-governmental organization in Australia responsible for developing and maintaining national standards across various industries. Established in 1922, the organization plays a crucial role in ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in products, services, and systems. It works in collaboration with industry, government, and consumer groups to develop standards that meet the needs of the Australian market and align with international best practices. As a member of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Standards Australia also contributes to global standardization efforts.

Standards Australia Store provides the access to 90,000 standards and documents to millions of customers in Australia and abroad. It provides a user-friendly experience to purchase digital or physical copy of the standards. It also offers subscription-based products such as National Construction Code (NCC) which offers more than 300 documents at a discounted yearly rate.

Standards Australia Store uses the latest tech stack including .NET 8 and Azure. The develop teams have adopted agile methodology and release incremental improvements on a fortnightly basis. My role as a lead full stack developer involved technical solutioning, adopting agile methodologies and people management.
